Funeral services for Jonas Robert Byles, 43, of Many were held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 in the Rose-
Neath Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Wayne Chance officiated. Interment followed in the Jerusalem Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 6-10 p.m. Jonas was born on Feb. 7,
1971 in Many. He entered into eternal rest at his residence on June 7, 2014. He was a graduate of Many High School and Northwestern State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science. He was employed by Alliance Compressors as a procurement analyst. He was preceded in death by daughter, Kaitlin Byles;
grandparents, Robert and Ann Byles, Albert and Mildred Bell; brother, Malcolm Byles, Sr.; nephew, Hunter Byles; special friends and mentor, Howard Baldwin and Emma Lee Foxx. He is survived by his wife, Nicole Adams Byles of Many;
parents, Clauriste Byles, Sr. and wife, Judy of Many; daughter, Cassidy Brooke Byles of Many; sister, Nicole Jackson and husband, Virgil of Robeline; brother, Clauriste Byles, Jr. and wife, Wendy of Many; nieces and nephews, Ivy Jackson, Alaina Jackson, Molly Simpson, Malcolm Byles, Jr. and wife, Caitlin, Madison Nicole Byles and a host of friends.
Honoring him as pallbearers were Seth Key, Kim Lafitte, Max Stoker, Cade Anthony, Joey Carroll, Ivy Jackson,
