On May 16, members of the Toledo Bend Fire Dept. were called to a location south of Toledo Bend Dam just off Hwy. 692 to extinguish a burning vehicle. After extinguishing the blaze, which totally engulfed the unidentified vehicle, firemen discovered a body inside. The male victim had apparently been murdered and then the vehicle was set on fire to destroy any evidence.
