    Funeral services for Myrtice Margaret Dyess Cox, 90, of Natchitoches were held on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ray Dyess and the Rev. Claude Weatherford officiating. Burial followed in the Spring Ridge Cemetery. Visitation began on Monday, May 5, 2014, at 5 p.m. at Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many. Myrtice Margaret Dyess Cox was born on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 1923 in Pleasant Hill. She passed from this life on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey R. Cox; son-in-law, Virgil Lee Barnhill; parents, Grover C. Dyess and Allie Olliff Dyess; brothers: H. Z. (Zed) Dyess and wife, Gladys Scott Dyess, Jewel Dyess and wife, Juanita Gewin Dyess, George Dyess, and M. L. (Marvin) Dyess and wife, Johnnie Belle Ayers Dyess; sisters: Ola Mae Dyess Cobb and husband, W. A. (Walter) Cobb, Eldred Dyess Irby and husband, L. J. Irby, and Ruby Lee Dyess Campbell and husband, Jack Campbell. She is survived by her daughter, Delores B. (Barnhill) Wetherington and husband, Dr. G. E.
