Community Bank of Louisiana is the proud sponsor of the 20th Annual Toledo Bend Lake Association (TBLA) Bass Unlimited – Back A Great Fighter Poster. The Poster Unveiling is being held at Cypress Bend Resort at 7:00 p.m. on April 6, where the original painting by local artist Angela Osborn and Poster #1, along with other items, will be auctioned.

“Community Bank has long supported multiple community organizations throughout our operational areas of NW Louisiana, and we are pleased to add the Toledo Bend Lake Association to this list. Toledo Bend Lake has been and continues to be one of the main economic engines that helps drive the tourism and retirement sectors of the area. TBLA’s contributions to the lake and lake area communities only enhance this benefit,” states Community Bank President, Jayce Simpson.

Community Bank has been locally owned and operated since 1901, starting out as the Bank of Logansport, and changing the name in 1997 as a result of a merger with Mansfield Bank & Trust. In October of 2019, they expanded into Sabine Parish with the opening of a temporary office in Many prior to the opening of their beautiful new building on San Antonio Avenue. Senior Vice President JJ Blake, well known to the residents of Sabine Parish, has been instrumental in the successful growth of the bank. “Soon after joining Community Bank, I had the privilege of being in charge of the expansion into Sabine Parish. I must say that our growth is far beyond my expectations, including the many lake area residents who bank with us at our branch location located in the local supermarket at Toledo Town,” said Mr. Blake.

The Poster Unveiling is open to the public and the doors open at 7:00 p.m. with a cash bar and finger food, followed by the unveiling and live auction. The signed and numbered posters will be available for purchase the night of the event, and the artist will be present to personalize.
