The Many Bass Club held its 10th tournament of 2025 on October 11 and 12. The anglers could choose to fish either Saturday or Sunday. The weather was unseasonably warm with afternoon temperatures in the low nineties, water temperatures in the low to mid-eighties, and very little wind. The lake was four feet low, and fish were scattered shallow to deep. Eleven anglers fished the tournament and there were only three limits weighed. Four double digit limits were brought to the scales.

Terry Hotard fished Sunday and won the tournament with an impressive 16.36 pound stringer which included a 7.42 pound fish. Terry caught all of his fish on Jackhammer Chatterbaits fished around grass on the south end of the lake. Terry only caught five keepers and his big fish was the last fish that he caught. Glen Swihart also fished Sunday and finished second in the derby with a five fish, 16.08 pound stringer. Glen caught his fish punching grass on the south end of the lake. Tommy Washington fished Saturday and placed third with a four fish, 15.13 pound stringer that included the Big Fish of the tournament which weighed 8.95 pounds. Tommy’s big fish is also the largest fish caught this year by the club. Tommy caught his fish on soft plastics from 2 to 18ft depths in the mid-lake area.

Terry Hotard continues to lead for the Club’s 2025 Angler of the Year Race with 153.31 points. Michael Kelley moved up to second place with 138.16 points while Gary West dropped to third place with 135 points. Glen Swihart is in fourth place with 115.7 points, followed by James Edwards in fifth with 114.2 points, Michael Sonnier in sixth with 111.74 points, Skip Carlisle in seventh with 98.7 points, and Tommy Washington in eighth with 75.05 points.
