Jason DeWitt of Westminster, Colorado, was born on Tuesday, January 3, 1978, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 in Lafayette, Colorado.

He graduated from Many High School with the Class of 1996 and from Sabine Valley Technical College in August, 2000. His life-long passion for computers and technology led him into a successful career in cloud service architecture where he achieved numerous certifications pertaining to his field of expertise.

Jason grew up in Many, Louisiana, and lived the majority of his life in north central Louisiana; but relocated to the Denver area with his family in 2019.

He enjoyed gaming, grilling, reading, building and painting Gundam models; but most of all being with his family.

Jason was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Willard DeWitt, and his maternal grandparents, Earl and Joan Brandon.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Jessica Dahlem DeWitt; his son, Sullivan Lukas DeWitt; his parents, Johnny and Sharon DeWitt; his sister and brother-in-law, Meredith DeWitt Wooster and Kris Wooster; his paternal grandmother, Lucille DeWitt; and his nephews, John and Ian Wooster. He is also survived by his parents-in-law, Jerry and Susan Dahlem, and a large extended family and numerous friends.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church in Many, LA, on June 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
