Funeral services celebrating the life of J.P. Taylor, 89, will be conducted at Roseneath Chapel Mansfield on Monday, August 9, 2021. Bro. Lynn Burkett and Bro. Stephen Taylor will officiate. Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove.

Mr. Taylor was born in Mitchell on August 15, 1931 to Paul and Mary Taylor. He passed away in Mitchell on August 7, 2021. Mr. Taylor was self employed as Bi-Vocational Baptist Minister and Electrician and Appliance repairman. He was a member of the Mitchell Baptist Church.

Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mary Taylor; brothers, John Edward; twin brothers, Jim and John; sister, Myrtle Lord; grandson, Jeremy Taylor; granddaughter, Veronica Burr; and grandson, Mark Taylor.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Durr Taylor; his children, Michael D. Taylor and wife Mary Taylor; Deborah L. Taylor; Paula Rene’Anderson and husband Thomas Anderson; and Joseph P. Taylor; grandchildren, T.J. Anderson; Jonathan Taylor; Stephen Taylor; Anna Taylor Terry; Amanda Taylor Martinez; Ethan Taylor; and Kaitlyn Taylor Andrews; great grandchildren; McKenna Taylor; Nevaeh Terry; Tristan Burr; Ashton Taylor; Ryland Taylor; Collin Burr; Maddie Taylor; Carter Anderson; Landon Taylor; Elise Anderson; Brantley Terry; Whitley Terry; Matthew Taylor; and Drew Taylor; brothers and sisters, Frances English and Peck Taylor; host nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Jerry English, Jonathan Taylor, Stephen Taylor, Ethan Taylor, Kyle Andrews and Collin Burr.
