Ken Busby, was born in Florien on November 18, 1940, and passed away in Many, on July 25, 2021, at the age of 80.

Ken graduated from Negreet High School in 1958 and then attended Northwestern State University, where he graduated with a Degree in Business Administration in 1961.

He obtained his CPA License in 1969 and joined and was made a partner with the accounting firm of Payne, Moore and Herrington in Alexandria.

For many years he was the Finance Officer for Baker Manufacturing and Automated Prescription Systems in Pineville and in his later years served as the Comptroller for Volunteers of America in Shreveport.

After retiring and returning home to Florien, he was very active in Little Flock Baptist Church and taught a weekly adult Sunday School Class.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Tempie Ann Randolph Busby and Narvel Lee (Dago) Busby.

He is survived by his children, Robert Allen Busby and wife Laura Busby of Haughton, Louisiana; Lisa Busby Walston and husband Byron Walston, of Lakeway, Texas; grandchildren, Grace Virginia Busby and Matthew Allen Busby of Haughton, Louisiana; Rachel Adelaide Keathley and Rebecca Anne Keathley of Houston, Texas; and Sarah Elizabeth Keathley of College Station, Texas.

He is also survived by his sister, Rita Busby DeBose and husband, Joe DeBose of Many, Louisiana; nephew, Mike and wife Sharon DeBose of Baton Rouge; niece, Stacey and husband, Randy Hoffpauir of Franklin, Tennessee; nephew, Scott and wife, Courtney DeBose of Many.

Memorial Service will be officiated by Ottis Branam and held at Little Flock Baptist Church, 1805 Little Flock Road, Many on Friday, July 30, followed by a graveside service.
