Graveside services for Marjorie Savell, 89, of Florien were held on July 21, 2021 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery (Ward 2), Florien with Bro. Wayne Chance and Bro. Tony Langton officiating.
Marjorie Savell was born on Tuesday, January 19, 1932 in Florien. She passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021 in Florien.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Lester Anderson Savell; her parents, James Nelson and Georgia Brown Nelson; sister, Madeline Fitzgerald; brother, James Larry Nelson; son-in-law, Billy Byles; granddaughter, Sandra “Sandy” Savell Terrell; great granddaughter, Kimberlee Arleen Savell; and her great great granddaughter, Memphis Grace Arnold.
She is survived by her son, Lloyd A. Savell and wife Donna of Negreet; daughter, Gale Byles of Many; grandchildren, Carolyn Anthony and husband Brad; Sonya Savell Townson; Bubba Savell and wife Kaci; Delton Byles and wife Julie; Phillip Byles and wife Debi; eight great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers: Delton Byles, Kody Byles, Philip Byles, Parker Byles, Bubba Savell, Brad Anthony, Trevor Anthony, Dalton Cozier and Bill Townson.
Honorary pallbearers were John Paul Byles, Cole Leach, Eli Savell, Austin Whitten, Billy Nixon, Brendan Arnold, Brody Whitten, Braxton Whitten and Declan Whitten.
