Funeral services for Buddie Calhoun, 75, of Natchitoches were held on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rickey Robertson officiating. Burial followed in the Prospect Cemetery.
Buddie Franklin Calhoun was born on Wednesday, December 26, 1945 in Cottonwood, Louisiana. He passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at his residence in Natchitoches.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi Anderson Calhoun and Gertrude (Fee) Calhoun Turner; brother, Durl Calhoun; paternal grandparents, Jessie and Lona Calhoun; maternal grandparents, Henry and Tressie Fee.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Calhoun of Natchitoches; sons, Buddie Calhoun, Jr. and wife Ashley of Lake Charles; Seth Calhoun and wife Misty of DeVille; and Bradley Smart and wife Erica of Anacoco; sisters, Sandra Wells of Wells, Texas; Betty Joe Calhoun of Rosepine, Louisiana; brothers, Jerry Calhoun of Leesville; Jessie Calhoun of Leesville; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
