The term "good man" is often used very loosely to descnbe men. However, Max was the embodiment of good in its truest sense. He loved his family with the love Christ has for the church. He was a faithful and humble man who always spoke the truth even when it might not be popular. He was a friend to all wh? met him and a Papaw to countless young people loVIng them as If they were his own. Most importantly he lived a long, full life of service to his Lord and Savior and is now in the arms of Jesus, with a real, everlasting crown of righteousness. As Paul said in 2 Timothy 4: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
