Forrest Youngblood, Jr., 91, of Noble, passed away on February 16, 2021 at his Family’s residence in Westlake, Louisiana.

Peyton was born February 9, 1930 in Noble to Forrest Peyton Youngblood, Sr., and Elaine Tatum Youngblood. He served his country honorably during the Korean War in the United States Army. He retired from Citgo in 1983 after serving thirty-seven years as an Operator. Peyton operated many businesses throughout his life. He was known as a jack of all trades. There was nothing he could not fix. He lived in Westlake for forty years before returning to his hometown of Noble in 1994. Peyton was a member of Noble Baptist Church and the Noble Masonic Lodge.

Those left to cherish his memory are, his daughter, Sarah Youngblood Roy of Westlake, Louisiana; grandson, Jarod Roy and wife Jamie of Westlake, Louisiana; granddaughter, Kayla Roy of Westlake, Louisiana; and his great grandchildren, Madison and Brady Roy.

Peyton was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of forty years, and mother of his child, Evon Craig Youngblood; his second wife of twenty-five years, Marilyn Campbell-Biggs-Youngblood; and his sister, Janet Youngblood.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Heart of Hospice for their compassionate care in his home during his battle with cancer.

An informal memorial service was held at Noble Baptist Church on Monday, March 1, 2021.
