Graveside services for Shirley Bugg, 82, of Many, were held on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Ft. Jesup Cemetery with Rev. Daniel Davis officiating and Gary Sliman delivering the eulogy.
Shirley Bugg was born on Tuesday, March 1, 1938 in Natchitoches. She passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Sabine Retirement & Rehabilitation Center in Many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernuis “Bill” Bugg; parents, Henry Self and Ora Lee (Stephens) Self; granddaughter, Brittany Pearsall; brothers, Wayne Self and Rodney Self; and her son-in-law, Harold Pearsall.
She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Pearsall of Many; Melanie Rains of Fordyce, Arkansas; son, William Bugg and wife Natalie of Many; son-in-law, Jeff Rains of Fordyce, Arkansas; sister, Brenda Nash of Belmont; brother, William Self of Tioga, Louisiana; grandchildren, Jessica Pearsall Sartor and husband Ryan; Sean Pearsall; Kyle Salley; Lane Salley; Cory Rains; Shelton Rains; Tucker Bugg; NaDean Bugg; Nathan Bugg; Natasha Ebarb; Dana Malmay; and B. J. Firesheets; great grandchildren, Caroline Pearsall; Coleman Malmay; Aubrey Quarles; and Kayden Firesheets; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
