Funeral services for Ruby McDonald, 92, of Noble, were held on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Parker officiating. Burial followed in the Cassell Cemetery.

Ruby McDonald was born on Sunday, March 18, 1928 in Delhi, Louisiana to Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Woolsey. She passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2020 in Zwolle.

Heaven has gained another Jewel a Ruby for our Lords crown. Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Ruby was completely devoted to her family. She loved completely and unconditionally. So many memories we each hold dear to our hearts. Ruby loved her Lord and Savior, her faith holding her during many hardships in her life. Ruby married the love of her life, Joe McDonald and together they raised their family in a home built of love and faith. Fly high till we meet again.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph McDonald; sons, Joseph Paul McDonald and Alvin McDonald; daughter, Patricia Ann Lampley; daughters-in-law, Mary Ann McDonald and Renee Leggett; granddaughter, Wendy McDonald; grandson, Nathan McDonald; and her great grandson, Jonathan McDonald.

She is survived by her sons, Calvin McDonald and wife Tammy of Hallsville, Texas; Douglas McDonald and wife Sandra of Paxton, Texas; David McDonald and wife Patty of Paxton, Texas; James McDonald and wife Belinda King of Zwolle; and Johnny Leggett of Harleton, Texas; along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Jason McDonald, C. J. McDonald, Daniel McDonald, Damian McDonald, Tanner McDonald and Trace Kirby.

Honorary Pallbearers: Wade McDonald, Larry Paul Lampley and Jedidiah McDonald.
