Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. Rabon Barney Cryer, 85 of Many were held on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Pendleton Assembly of God Church with Brother Daniel Davis officiating; interment immediately followed at the church cemetery. “RB” was born May 14, 1935 in Many to Annie Bell (Ayers) Cryer and Richard Levi Cryer and entered into rest on October 28, 2020 in Many.

RB was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. He loved the Lord with all of his heart and loved serving in his church as well. Listening to southern gospel music and playing his guitar was a lifelong passion. He was a devoted family man who adored his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Levi Cryer; brother, Volney Lee Cryer (Annie Mae); sisters, Venecer Cryer Bass (Howard C. “Tebo” Bass); Levella Leoda Cryer Hippler (Cecil Hippler); Mavis Cryer Bass (Everett Bass); and Elaine Cryer Flanagan (James Flanagan).Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Betty Cryer of 60 years of Many; son, Scott Tyron Cryer and wife, LeAnn of Katy, Texas; daughter, Christina Deon Ebarb and husband, Ricky of Converse; grandchildren, Nathan Anderson; Dakota Cryer; Austin Ebarb; and Cheyenne Ebarb. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.

Honoring him as pallbearers were Scott Cryer, Dakota Cryer, Nathan Anderson, Austin Ebarb, Randy Bostian, and Rodney Randolph.
