Wanda Jeter born on October 12, 1950 to Charles “Doc” Olliff and Ruby Kate Tibbetts Olliff. Mrs. Wanda entered into eternal rest on June 30, 2020.
She was the youngest of three children and the only daughter. Wanda was known for her phenomenal cooking, infectious smile, and her feisty attitude. She was selfless in the sense she never complained and was always willing to listen if you had a problem. She enjoyed sewing, reading, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family. She was very family oriented and was known as the “duct tape” that held her family together.
Left to honor her memory is her loving husband of 48 years John William Jeter. Together they had 3 beautiful daughters, Christy Smith and her significant other (Mark Meziere); Amber (Niki) Jeter; Courtney Tims and her husband (Kevin).
The true lights of her life were her two grandchildren Rubi and Sarah Smith. Anytime the girls called on “Nonnie” she came with no questions asked. She also left behind extended family and a few friends. Preceding Mrs. Wanda in death are her parents Charles and Ruby Olliff; brothers, Charles and James Olliff; and inlaws, William F. and Mary Alice Jeter.
Funeral services honoring her life were held on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Many. Officiating will be Brother Jimmy Aymond with Brandon Frost assisting. Interment followed at the Zwolle City Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Brian Olliff, Damon Craig, Dayton Craig, Nick Jeter, Reed Jeter, Tristan Ebarb, William Rivers, and Eugene Stockton. Honorary pallbearers were Kevin Tims and Mark Meziere.
