Funeral services for Esther Campbell, 76, of Belmont, were held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Union Baptist Church, Belmont with Bro. David Free and Sister Christy Taylor officiating. Burial followed in the Belmont Cemetery.
Esther Mae Campbell was born on Tuesday, February 22, 1944 in Marthaville. She passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020 in Natchitoches. She was preceded in death by her parents, J. C. Shoemake and Winnie Mae (Kelly) Shoemake; sons, Troy Wayne Campbell Jr., John Campbell and Kelly Campbell; sister, Loretta Beal; brothers, Bo Kelly and Hoyt Shoemake; and her daughter-in-law, Janet Campbell.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years Troy Wayne Campbell, Sr. of Belmont; sons, Mark Campbell and wife Sheri of Belmont; Derek Campbell and wife Dora Mae of Belmont; daughter, Martha Hagelin and husband Eric of Belmont; sister, Ellen Lewis of Carencro, Louisiana; sister-in-law, Patsy Shoemake of Hobbs, New Mexico; grandchildren, Ashley Free and husband David; Calvin Campbell and wife Crystal; Mallory Powell and husband Jonah; Jayde; Hayden and Kassie Campbell; River Ebarb; Ben Singletary and Briana McMurry; great grandchildren, Kelly; Sylvia; Abigail and Rosalie Free; Rowyn Powell and Brynleigh McMurry; along with a host of nieces, nephews and loved ones.
Pallbearers: Jonah Powell, Doug Howard, Calvin Campbell, Brett Meshell, Brad Salter and Kevin Ensinger.
