Funeral services for Kathryn Elaine Martinez, 68, of Florien, were held on February 22, 2020 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Chance and Deacon Mike Sullivan officiating. Burial followed in the Prospect Cemetery.
Elaine Martinez was born on Friday, March 9, 1951 in Many. She passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Alex Savell and Sybil Etoile (Neel) Savell.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Pat Martinez of Florien; daughter,
Teresa Corley McConathy and husband David of Anacoco; sons, Chadwick Lee Martinez and wife April of Natchitoches and Kenneth Bernard Martinez and wife Misty of Many; sister, Jean Stanley and husband Bobbie of Stonewall; grandchildren, Aimee Ward and husband Klancy of Anacoco, Haley Haymon and husband Tye of Anacoco, Shelbie Martinez of Many, Kirsten Matinez of Many, and Preston Martinez of Natchitoches; great granddaughters, Victoria Reece Haymon of Anacoco, and Kylie Cheyenne Haymon of Anacoco; great grandson, Eastyn Lee Ward of Anacoco; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers: Klancy Ward, Jr., Tye Haymon, Tony Stanley, Dave Savell, Keith Martinez and Roland Powell.
