Funeral services for James C. “JC” Meshell, 85, of Belmont, were held on December 28, 2019 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Howard and Bro. Chris Asberry officiating. Burial followed in the Spring Ridge Cemetery. James C. “JC” Meshell was born on Friday, August 10, 1934 in Sabine Parish. He passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 in Shreveport. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Meshell and Evelyn (Sepulvado) Meshell; wife, Margie Meshell, son, Jimmy Ebarb; brothers, Dewit Meshell, Sammy Meshell and Wayne Meshell; and sister, Mary Jane Anderson. He is survived by his children, Joe Ebarb and wife Michelle of Groveton, Texas, Link Meshell and wife Sue Ann of Groveton, Texas, Lori Mahan and husband Rodney of Nacogdoches, Texas, Nina Meshell of Lufkin, Texas and Brett Meshell and wife Cindy of Belmont; sister, Belva Jean LeBlanc and husband Leroy of Corrigan, Texas; brother, Clayton Meshell and wife Barbara of Splendora, Texas; fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers: Joey Meshell, Kevin Wooley, Michael Ebarb, Tanner Ebarb, Noah Paddie and Brady Paddie.
