Funeral services for Archie Anderson, 89, of Converse, were held on October 24, 2019 at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Shady Grove Cemetery in Noble.
Archie Anderson was born on Thursday, January 30, 1930 in Sabine Parish, Louisiana. He passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in Zwolle, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Farmer Anderson; father, James Anderson; step-mother, Rena Paddie Anderson and sister, Irene Paddie.
He is survived by his daughters, Paula Anderson of Noble; Sharon Leone and husband Robert of Zwolle; Phyllis Anderson of Zwolle; Terri Remedies and husband Mark of Many; son, Alfred Anderson and wife Darlene of Zwolle; step-sons, Lamar Ebarb and wife Wendy of Zwolle and Joseph Steve Ebarb of Shreveport; sisters, Nathalene Jackson of Shreveport; Marlyne Raybon of Noble; and Geneva Redding and husband Curtis of West Columbia, Texas; brothers, Alfred Anderson and wife Margie of Noble; Johnny Anderson of West Virginia; grandchildren, Jeremy Leone, Justin Anderson, Chasity Martinez, Lindsey Carnline, Zack Remedies and Jenna France; thirteen great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers were James Ray Jackson, Mickey Jackson, Kevin Deacon, Rodney Anderson, Daniel Anderson and Alec Anderson.
Honorary Pallbearers were Jeremy Leone, Robert Leone, Lamar Ebarb, Joseph Steve Ebarb, Billy G. Sneed and Justin Anderson.
