Funeral services for Claudie Lemons, 82, of Robeline, were held November 15 at The Life Church with Pastors Jim Manning and Tommy Lewis officiating. Burial followed in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Claudie Lemons was born on Thursday, October 15, 1936 in Robeline. He passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018 in Shreveport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Soloman Lemons and Ola Matthews Lemons; brother, Porter Lemons; sister, Audie Lale; and son, Kenneth Murrell, Jr..
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Lemons of Robeline; daughters; Brenda Lee Leggitt and husband, Frank, of Sugarland, Texas, Donna Lee Janda and husband, David Sr., of LaPorte, Texas, Kathryn Cartwright and husband, Jodey, of Williston, North Dakota and Terri Lynn Lewandowski and husband, Roy, of Woodridge, Illinois; sister, Charlotte Thompson of Houston, Texas; brother, Doyle Lemons of Humble, Texas; nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers were Glen Wallis Jr., Joseph Murrell, John Lewandowski III, Jessica Wallis, Joshua Lewandowski, Roy Casimere, Dustin Miller and Johnny Taylor.
