Funeral services for James Napier, 68, of Zwolle were held February 4 at First Baptist Church of Zwolle with the Rev. Jerry Penfield officiating. Burial followed in the Sardis Cemetery. He was born Thursday, November 24, 1949 in Zwolle, and passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in Zwolle. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Olynn Napier and Margaret Louise Drake Napier. He is survived by his wife, Karen Teasley Napier of Zwolle; children, Larisa Elder and husband, Lee, of Spring Hill, Tennessee, Kimberly Cox and husband, Jeremy, of Douglasville, Georgia, Jack Napier and Sissy Lewis of Zwolle, Melynda Cantrell and husband, Rudy, of Zwolle, Nina Alleyne and husband, Joe, of San Clemente, California, and Kaitlyn Napier of Zwolle; sisters, Margaret Gwinner of Katy, Texas and Jane Ramos and husband, Santos, of Killington, Vermont; special family member, B. J. Britt of Zwolle; 17 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers were Steve Pearce, Dave Cupp, Sam Rivers, Clark Rivers, Lee Elder, Josh Lewis and Stan Russell.
