Funeral services for Jimmy Ray Pleasant, 76, of Many were held October 31 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends Glen Bezerra and Randall Beason officiating. Burial followed in the Warren Cemetery. He was born Sunday, April 6, 1941 in Sabine Parish and passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 at his residence in Many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Pleasant and Effie Mae Knippers Pleasant; and sister, Mildred Tanton. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Pleasant of Many; sons, Terry Pleasant and wife, Joanna, of Many and Wendell Pleasant of Many; daughter, Anita Fullerton and husband, Alan of Many; sisters, Dorothy Anderson of Florien, Glenda Beason of Zwolle, and Betty Knippers of Zwolle; grandchildren, Cory Fullerton of Many, Josh Pleasant of Natchitoches, Colton Pleasant of Shreveport, and Dakota Pleasant of Natchitoches; great grandchildren, Mia Pleasant, Cayden Fullerton, Jessie Hargrove, and Jozie Page; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
