Memorial services for Franklin Allen Hammon, 84, of Noble, will be held Thursday, September 21 at 10 a.m. at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with Father Richard Norsworthy officiating. He was born Tuesday, June 6, 1933 in Webster Springs, West Virginia, and passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Toledo Nursing Center in Zwolle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elza Hammon and Irene Cummings Hammon; sons, Billy Michael Hammon, and Howard Matthew Hammon; brothers, Frankie Hammon, and Fred Hammon; sister, Freda Sharrard; grandson, Billy Anderson; and great granddaughter, Celeste Paige Hammon. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Hammon of Noble; daughter, Mary Hammon Bass and husband, Patrick, of Converse; granddaughter, Melissa Mitchell and husband, Roy, of Robeline; grandson, Dustin Hammon and wife, Angie, and children of Converse; great grandsons, Brandon Anderson of Many, and Nigel Derr of Robeline; great granddaughter, Carrie Hammon Watson of Mitchell; sister, Frances Skagges of Clarkson, Kentucky; brother, Floyd Hammon of Sonoma, California; special friends, Erma and Allen Ebarb; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
