Faithlynn Meshell

Funeral services for Faithlynn Lorraine Meshell, 17 months, of Florien, were held September 19 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Buddy Freeman officiating. Burial followed in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. She was born Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Natchitoches and passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Doctors Hospital at Deer Creek in Leesville. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Janet Meshell; great grandfather, Charlie Pugh; great grandfather, Herbert Meshell; grandmother, Francis Lee Smith Somersall; and great grandmother, Dorothy L. Smith. She is survived by her mother, Crystal Meshell of Florien; father, Lionel Somersall, Jr. of Many; brothers, DaShaun Meshell of Florien, Detrez Thomas, Jr. of Florien, Isaiah Meshell of Florien, and Tyler Somersall of Rosenberg, Texas; sisters, Brittany Farias of Baytown, Texas, Maliah Somersall of Rosenberg, Texas, Allana Somersall of College Station, Texas, and Georgia Raine of Shreveport; maternal grandparents, Howard “Chubby” Meshell and Kathy Birdwell of Zwolle; paternal grandparent, Lionel Somerall Sr. of Baytown, Texas; great grandparents, Marlene Pugh of Florien and Dots Meshell of Noble; aunts and uncles, Jessica and John Watson of Converse, Melissa Meshell of Zwolle, CoDan Meshell of Florien, Paulla Thomas of Stafford, Texas, Debra Smith of Many, Serena Somersall of Baytown, Texas, and Olive Somersall of Baytown, Texas; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Pallbearers were Howard “Chubby” Meshell, Douglas Meshell Jr., Fernando Quintero, and Damion Washington.
