Huey Harper

Funeral services for Huey P. Harper, 85, of Many were held July 13 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray Dyess officiating. Burial followed in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery. He was born Sunday, July 19, 1931 in Mansfield and passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 at his residence in Many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rhee Roy Harper and Stacie Mae Mannies Harper; son, Ben George Harper; and brothers, Dan Harper and Walter Harper. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Harper of Many; daughters, Debra Harper Corley and husband, Dr. Jack Corley, of Many and Kathryn Harper Leone of Zwolle; grandchildren, Willie Corley, III of Florien, Wendy Corley Curtis and husband, Jess, of Many, and Stacie Leone Laroux and husband, Eric, of Zwolle; great grandchildren, Jesse Tackett Curtis, II and wife, Trixy, of Many, Hope Corley Curtis of Many, Presley Harper Corley of Many, Joc Garland Corley of Many, Katelyn Elizabeth Laroux of Zwolle, and Kaden George Laroux of Zwolle; special extended family, Floyd and Susan Giblin, Amy Barnhill, and the Staff of Warren Meadows Funeral Home; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers were Dr. Jack Corley, Willie Corley, III, Jess Curtis, Eric Laroux, Jesse Curtis, and Robby Lang. Honorary pallbearers were Joc Corley, Kaden Laroux, Bill Vance, and Shelton Havard.
