Funeral services for Aloyesse Dew Tidwell, 89, of Many were held June 12 at Calvary Baptist Church with Bros. Cyle Clayton and Keith Paramore officiating. Burial followed in the Many Cemetery. She was born on Sunday, February 12, 1928 in Many, and passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at her residence in Many. She was preceded in death by her husband, B. J. Tidwell, Jr.; parents, Willie Ambrose Dew and Helen Hayes Dew; and siblings, Verlyn Turner, Homer Dew, and Kenneth R. Dew, Sr. She is survived by her son, Chris Tidwell and fiancée, Laura Davis of Florien; sister, Betty Dew Welch of Houston, Texas; brother, Franklin Dew and wife, Clarice of Many; grandchildren, Tristen, Haylee and Hayden Tidwell; nieces and nephews, Amanda Welch of Houston, Texas, Becky Paramore of Deer Park, Texas, Randy Welch of Huntsville, Texas, Diane Carter of Many, Ken Dew, Jr. of Many, Debbie Adair of Natchitoches, Arthur Dew of Natchitoches, Gloria Raley of Haughton, and Willie Turner of Longview, Texas; special great nieces, Courtney Driskell of Deer Park, Texas And DeAnna Morrow of Monroe; along with a host of family and friends.
