Cora Meshell

Funeral services for Cora Meshell, 98, of Noble, were held May 16 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Richard Norsworthy officiating. Burial followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery. She was born on Sunday, September 22, 1918 in Zwolle and passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Toledo Nursing Center in Zwolle. She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Walter Meshell, Sr.; children, Baby Joseph and Jimmy Ray Meshell; parents, Steve and Ascension Sepulvado; brothers, Nick, Joe, and Raymond Sepulvado; and sisters, Angeline Malmay, Sally Procell, Rose Lee Garcia, and Mable Sepulvado. She is survived by her daughters, Ruby Lyon of Bossier City and Linda Faye Meshell of Noble; sons, Rufus Meshell of Shreveport, James David Meshell of Noble, and Walter Meshell, Jr. of Noble; sisters, Maggie Manshack of Noble, Blanche Procell of Shreveport, and Mattie Garcie of Shreveport; 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
