    Funeral services honoring the life of Mary Cecilia “Topsy” Farmer, 76, of Converse were held May 8 at Union Springs Baptist Church in Converse with the Reverends Richard Enterkin, Claude Weatherford and Chucky Clark officiating. Burial followed at Union Springs Cemetery in Converse. Topsy was born on October 12, 1940 to Bernard Ward and Eleah Studer Gamble and entered into rest on May 5, 2017. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eleah Studer Gamble and great grandson, Cy Williams. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Bernard Farmer; sons, Bob Farmer and wife, Sheila, and Jodie Farmer and wife Dee; daughter, Bernardine “Sissy” Vickers and husband, Ronnie; grandchildren, Justin Williams, Logan Williams, Destiny Ward and husband, Mason, Cole Farmer, Megan English and husband, Colt, Davy Farmer, Nic Farmer, Hayley Farmer, and Jake Farmer; and great grandchildren, Pacer Williams and Daegan Williams. Honoring her as pallbearers were Justin Williams, Logan Williams, Tyler Vickers, Cole Farmer, Davy Farmer, Nic Farmer, and Jake Farmer.
