Funeral services for Ortrud Pheifle McComic, 80, of Zwolle were held April 8 at First Baptist Church of Zwolle with the Rev. Jerry Penfield officiating. Burial followed in the Parrot Cemetery. She was born on Tuesday, May 19, 1936 in Germany and passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Sabine Retirement & Rehabilitation Center in Many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. McComic; father, Kirt Pheifle; and mother, Anna Pheifle. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Rivers of Zwolle; son, Darren McComic and wife, Debbie of Zwolle; sister, Gerda Carlson and husband, Pete, of Florida; granddaughter, Ashley Falcon; nieces: Patricia Henry and husband, Don, of Minnesota and Cindy Parri and husband, Tony, of Florida; along with a host of friends, family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were James “Bo-Bo” McComic, Timothy McComic, Justin McComic, Phillip McComic, Scott Crooks, Greg Crooks and Carl Stephens.
