Graveside services for Ronald Lance Powell, 46, of Florien were held March 23 at Prospect Cemetery with the Rev. John Lewing officiating. He was born on Sunday, November 15, 1970 in Many. He passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at his residence in Florien. He was preceded in death by his father, Monroe Powell of Florien. He is survived by his mother, Netha Lea Powell of Florien; daughter, Willow Chesson of Florien; brothers, Leonard Powell and wife, Lynn, of Hilliarad, Ohio, Lambert Powell of Florien, and Rowland Powell of Florien; sister, Rhonda Powell DuBose and husband, Gary, of Florien; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers were Josh Sandel, Sammy Brumfield, Chris Nelson, Cody Dodson, Cleve Thompson and Johnny Carroll. Honorary pallbearers were Anthony Sepulvado, Harvey Crittenden, Tony Larche, Huey P.
