Jim House

Funeral Services for James W. House, 78, of Zwolle, were held on October 9 at First Baptist Church of Zwolle with the Rev. Jerry Penfield officiating. Burial followed in the Zwolle Cemetery. Jim was born on Wednesday, December 8, 1937 in Sabine Parish. He passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Sabine Medical Center in Many. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Sylvia Bush House; son, Jimmy House; and mother of his children, JoAnn Palmer House. He is survived by his wife, Sarah House of Zwolle; daughters, Bonnie Thomas and husband, Gary, of Kountze, Texas and Debbie Anderson and husband, Mike, of Florien; step-daughter, Alena LaBorde and husband, Gerard, of Bossier City; step-son, Hayes Alexander of Haughton; sister, Marceil Dyes and husband, Dean, of Pleasant Hill; grandchildren, Dylan Thomas and wife, Belle, of San Antonio, Texas, Britton Thomas and wife, Abbie, of Kountze, Texas, Marilyn Anderson of Florien, Tessa Anderson of Florien, Riley LaBorde of Bossier City, Wesley Alexander of Bossier City and Nathan Alexander of Bossier City.; great grandchildren, Addyson Thomas of Kountze, Texas and Anna Thomas of San Antonio, Texas; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
