Funeral services honoring the life of Joyce Ann Crooks, 72, were held August 1 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Zwolle with Father Timothy Hurd officiating. Burial followed at St. Joseph’s in Zwolle. Joyce was born on February 15, 1944 in Zwolle to Walter and Elva Crooks, and passed away on July 27, 2016. Her laughter and smile could make the worst day the best day. She loved with all her heart and those hugs always made it alright. Preceding her in death were her parents, Walter and Elva Crooks; brothers, Ray Crooks, Joseph Freddie Crooks, Harold Crooks, and Charles Crooks; sister, Cleo Ezernack; and great grandchildren Layla Sepulvado and McKenzie Walraven. She is survived by her sons, John Dale Walraven Jr. and wife, Jackie, Terry “Porkey” Walraven, and Charles “Buddy” Walraven and wife, Priscilla; daughters, Darlene Walraven, Shannon Toopes and husband, Gerald, Kallie Russell and husband, Steve, Susie Sepulvado and husband, Kevin, and Stacy Shephard and husband, Anthony; sisters, Ella Garcie and husband, Herman, and Linda J. Crooks; brothers, Robert Crooks and wife, Linda, and Louis Ludwig Crooks; grandchildren, Waylon, Shelby, Logan, Shaun, Brittany, Michael, Jeffrey, Bonner, Trista, Taylor, Lacey, Alexis, Alyssa, Bud, Dewayne, Rachel, Kolton, Courtney, and Kirsten; and great grandchildren, Seth, Anthony Jr., Jerlando, Airyonna, Amare, Nicholas, Keagan, Trenton, Brantley, Sarah, Raelyn, and Trealon.
