Funeral services for Needham E. Tidwell, 79, of Many, were held June 20 at Many Church of Christ with Bro. James Tidwell officiating. Burial followed in the Pilgrim Rest Cemetery. Needham E. Tidwell was born on Saturday, June 5, 1937 in Sabine Parish. He passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016 in Shreveport. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bossie Jefferson Tidwell and Bertha Bell Alford Tidwell; brother, B. J. Tidwell, Jr. and sisters, Marie Greer, Dorothy Mae Tidwell, Ruth Cole, and Jean Davis.He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Tidwell Cheatwood of Marthaville; son, John Needham Tidwell of Columbia, Mississippi; sister, Hazel Holloway of Temple, Texas; brother, James Tidwell of Many; nine grandchildren; one great grandson, Kaden; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
