Roger “Moose” Leone

Funeral services for Roger Dale “Moose” Leone, 62, of Noble were held on June 10 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Tim Hurd officiating. Burial followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Moose was born on Sunday, August 9, 1953 in Converse. He passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 in Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Leone; paternal grandparents, Sevado and Francis Leone; maternal grandparents, Andrew “Charlie” and Marguerite Martinez. He is survived by his daughter, Stacie Leone Laroux and husband, Eric, of Zwolle; step-son, Scott Brown of Clarksville, Tennessee; mother, Charlene Leone of Zwolle; sister, Melanie Sullivan and husband, Jeff, of Zwolle; brothers, Greg “Peck” Leone and wife, Connie, of Zwolle, Robert “Bo” Leone and wife, Sharon, of Zwolle, Maury “Bubby” Leone and wife, Stephanie, of Zwolle, and Rodney “Rod” Leone of Zwolle; grandchildren, Katelyn Elizabeth and Kaden George Laroux of Zwolle and step grandson, Myles Brown of Clarksville, Tennessee along with a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and friends. Pallbearers were Chris Wray, Harvey Bedsole, Mark Schoth, Walter “Tootsie Roll” Meshell, Ralph “Gopp” Sepulvado, Ray Bragg, Willie Corley, and Leon Sepulvado.
