Melyssa Anderson

Funeral services for Melyssa Dawn Anderson, 13, of Zwolle, were held on June 3 at First Baptist Church of Zwolle with the Rev. Jerry Penfield officiating. Burial followed at Shady Grove Cemetery on Highway 191 North of Zwolle. Melyssa was born on Friday, May 2, 2003 in Shreveport. She passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Sabine Medical Center in Many. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Dennis Remedies and her cousins, Melissa Ohlemacher and Veronica Burr. She is survived by her father, Michael E. Anderson of Zwolle; devoted paternal grandparents and second mother, Dorothy and Ellzy Anderson of Zwolle; sisters, Leah KinKayd Anderson of Zwolle, Lacy Ebarb of Zwolle, Alyssa Ebarb of Zwolle, and Madalyn Moore of Shreveport; brother, Liam Remedies of Zwolle; mother, La- Gretchen Dawn Remedies of Shreveport; maternal grandmother, Robbie Knight of Shreveport; Uncle James Anderson and wife, Lou, of Noble; Aunt Leanna Cooper and husband, Steven, of Haughton; Aunt Mary Lou Bison of Noble; Uncle Tommy Joe Bison, Sr. and wife, Brenda, of Grand Cane; cousins, Drake, Colt, and Gage Cooper of Haughton, Dalton, Ashlyn, and Ryker Ohlemacher of Lafayette, William Champion of Converse, Torrie Sepulvado and husband, Jason, of Zwolle, and Kylee, Mason, Londyn and Dylan; paternal great Uncle Thomas Anderson and wife, Renee, of Converse; cousin, T. J. Anderson; paternal great Aunt Polly Champion of Converse and a host of other cousins, family, and friends. Pallbearers were Tommy Joe Bison, Jr., Steven Cooper, Dalton Ohlemacher, Jason Sepulvado, Jason Dobbins and Dylan Sepulvado.
