Funeral services honoring the life of Janet Charlette Armstrong, 37, were held May 2 at the Life Church in Many with the Rev. Jim Manning officiating. Burial followed at St. Catherine’s in Noble. Charlette was born on September 1, 1978 in Shreveport to Kim Leger and Roger Rutherford and passed away on April 28, 2016 with her family by her side. She was the friendliest and most caring person you would ever meet and will be missed by so many. Proceeding her in death were her grandparents, Ray and Rena Rutherford, and Mollie Ruth Meshell; great grandmother, Christina Meshell and uncle, Rodney Rutherford. She is survived by her husband, Brian Armstrong; mother Kim Leger; stepfather, Ronald Leger; father, Roger Dale Rutherford Sr.; daughters, Christina Williams and fiancé Ryan Leone, Kelsie Whitlow, Kailey Whitlow, and Celena Rivers; son, Jaylin Bolton; sisters, Charlene Rutherford and Michael, Debra Kaye and Frank Snodgrass, Mollie and Cody Parker, Brittany and Austin Smith, Marissa and Victor Flores, Channon Manshack, and Brianna Manshack; brothers, Roger Dale and Christian Meshell, Roger Dale Rutherford Jr., Preston Brewster, and James and Shama Manshack and grandchildren, Bentley and Paisleigh Leone.
