    Funeral services honoring the life of Walter McMahen, 86, were held April 11 at Rose-Neath in Many with the Rev. Ken Price officiating. Burial followed at Zwolle City Cemetery in Zwolle. Walter was born on October 21, 1929 in Magnolia, Arkansas to Walter and Ida May McMahen. He passed away on April 7, 2016 with his only child, Rance, by his side. Proceeding him in death were his wife, Opal A. McMahen; parents, Walter and Ida May McMahen and sisters, Willene Phillips, Flay Bearden, and Jean Murdock. He is survived by his son, Rance McMahen, of Zwolle; grandchildren, Carrie Summerton and Ryan McMahen, of California and Frank McMahen of Orange, Texas; great granddaughters, Rowen and Sophie Summerton, and Abigail McMahen of California.
