Funeral Services for Sherry Ann Litton Lewis were held April 11, at Wallace Baptist Church with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery in Converse. Officiating the funeral were Dr. Jeff Jinks and Brother Dean Johnson. Pallbearers were Kenneth Barnes, Billy Joe Blankenship, Chris Friday, Brad Hines, Tommy Raimond, Henry Touchton, Arthur Touchton, and Rodney Walker. Sherry was born December 6, 1959, to Thomas and Mallie Litton of Pleasant Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Wanda Slay. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 37 years, Stephen Lewis; children, Shelly Lewis-Rivers and husband, Jarrad, Mary Lewis James and husband, Micah, and Brooke Lewis; grandsons, Aidan Freeman, Grayson James, and Eli James; siblings, Thomas Litton, Jr., Charles Ray Litton and wife, Diane, and Lillie Bullard and husband, James along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. Sherry was a 1977 graduate of Pleasant Hill High School and was a strong supporter of the school and the community. She was a devoted wife, mother, and Grammy who enjoyed spending time with her family and her precious grand babies. She always had a heart for others and was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her contagious smile and infectious laughter will be greatly missed.
