    Funeral services for George John Carlson, 88, of Robeline were held March 23 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sherrill Stiles officiating. Burial followed in the Ft. Jessup Cemetery. George John Carlson was born on Monday, August 1, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois. He passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Sabine Retirement and Rehab in Many. He was preceded in death by his parents, George F. Carlson and Elsie Carlson, and his brother, Dick Carlson. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Smith Carlson of Robeline; daughters, Sandee Razminas of Plano, Texas, Candee Carlson of Plano, Texas, and Joni Frazier of Marshall, Texas; son, Todd Carlson of Plano, Texas and John Parish, Jr. of Robeline; sister, Kaye Chapman; two grandchildren; one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
