Marie Snell

Funeral services for Marie Snell 85, of Anacoco were held December 26, 2015, at the East Leesville Baptist Church with the Reverends Jeff Smart and Jerry Key officiating. Burial followed in the Good Hope Cemetery in Anacoco under the direction of Labby Memorial Home of Leesville. Marie, the daughter of Edward Isaac French and Marie Butler- Robertson, was born February 12, 1930, in Houston, Texas. She passed away on Monday, December 21, 2015, in Many. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Ray Snell; daughter, Melanie Strope and grandson, William Orme. She is survived by her sons, Mike and wife, Jeannie Orme of Anacoco, Mark and wife, Kerry Orme of Galveston, Texas, Monty and wife, Pam Orme of Anacoco and Dallas Snell of Austin, Texas; daughter, Ginger Snell of Montgomery, Texas; sisters, Betty Pierson of Willis, Texas and Ann Dodd of Bogata, Texas and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Helping Hands Ministries; 603 S. 3rd Street Leesville, LA 71446. Words of comfort may be expressed to the Snell Family at www.labbymemorial.com
