Funeral Services for Joe Shelby Luster, 88, of Many, were held November 14, at First Methodist Church of Many with Bro. Ray Spiller and the Rev. Elaine Burleigh officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Florien. Joe Shelby Luster was born on Thursday, June 30, 1927 in Batesville, Arkansas. He passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Sabine Retirement & Rehabilitation Center in Many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Champ and Georgia Luster; sisters, Alma Mix, Mary Jane Wylie and Martha Sue Dawson and brothers, Neal Luster, Champ Luster, Jr., John A. Luster and Don Luster. He is survived by his wife, Billie Lou Luster of Many; son, Joe Michael Luster and wife, Tammy, of Many; grandchildren, Harper Lou Luster and Georgia Mae Luster; nephew, John William Luster and wife, Sarah of Natchitoches; nieces, Nancy Ferreria of Woodlands, Texas and Patty Doyle and husband, Danny, of McKinney, Texas; great nephews, Dr. William B. Luster of Natchitoches and John Page Luster of Houston, Texas; great niece, Rebecca Radford and husband, Alex, of Shreveport along with a host of friends.
