    Funeral Services for Phillip Paul Rivers, 70, of Zwolle, were held on October 16, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle with Father Thomas Elavunkal officiating. Burial followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Phillip Paul Rivers was born on Saturday, April 28, 1945 in Converse. He passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015 in Plain Dealing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Mary “Maggie” Rivers. He is survived by his wife, Annie Ruth Rivers of Zwolle; son, Donnie Rivers of Zwolle; daughters, Paula Faircloth and husband, Jamie, of Zwolle and Angela Sepulvado and husband, Monk, also of Zwolle; sister, Mary Remedies and husband, Benny of Zwolle; brothers, Wilbert Rivers of Zwolle, Wilford Rivers and wife, Gayla, of Zwolle, Frankie Rivers and wife, Melanie, of Zwolle and Charles Lopez and wife, Dora, of Zwolle; grandchildren, Ashley Rivers and husband, Nicholas, of Natchitoches, Ashley Faircloth, Shelby Faircloth, Destiny Sepulvado, Kelcie Rivers, Jamie Kezerle, Madison Rivers and Kinslee Sepulvado all of Zwolle; great grandchild, Bentley Carter of Zwolle along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers were Dale Remedies, Jason Rivers, Phillip Rivers, Monk Sepulvado, Cody Rivers and Eric Garcie. Honorary pallbearers were Wilbert Rivers, Wilford Rivers, Frankie Rivers, Charles Lopez, Jamie Faircloth, Keith Etheridge and Mary Remedies.
