Funeral services for Christine Sistrunk were held Sept. 9 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield with the Rev. Bob Russell officiating. Burial followed in the Mitchell Cemetery in Mitchell. Christine was born June 3, 1929 in Sabine Town, Texas to Jim and Hattie Morris McFarland and passed away in Alexandria on Sept. 7, 2015. Preceding Christine in death were her two infant sons. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 69 years, T J Sistrunk; daughter, Jo Ann Sistrunk Angelo and husband, Bob and numerous family members and friends.
