A Masonic funeral service for Jimmy “Stonewall” Jackson, 69, of Robeline was held on Aug. 2 at Fort Jesup Baptist Church in Many with the Rev. George Treutlein, Dr. David McGraw of Robeline and Many Masonic Lodges officiating. Burial followed in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery.Jimmy “Stonewall” Jackson was born on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 1946 in Shreveport. He passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at his residence in Robeline.He was preceded in death by his parents, C.V. and Oleta Jackson; wife and mother of his children, Sandy Simpson Jackson and stepdaughter, Robin Cook.He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Guay Jackson of Robeline; daughters, Shelly Jackson Batts and husband, Timothy, of Shreveport and Deleigh Jones and husband, Tracy, of Negreet; step-daughters, Ingrid Cook of Baton Rouge and Megan Moran Smith and husband, Trey, of St. Francisville; brother, Corley V. Jackson and wife, Eukie, of Fort Jesup; grandchildren, Cassie Hartline Provenza, Devin Jamison Mitchell, Cait-lyn Drew Hartline Brown, Jimmy Layton Jamison, Jackson Slade Jamison, Hailey Coan, Reannon, Jessica and Caleb Batts, Aiden and Taylor Smith and Andrew Warner; great grandchildren, Pate and Walker Mitchell, Charli Funderburk and Riley Grace, Presli and Hagen Brown; special hunting buddy and friend, Wayne Colston along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.Pallbearers were Layton Jamison, Slade Jamison, Wayne Colston, Virgil Jackson, Curtis Jackson, Jarred Provenza, Kevin Brown and Shane Mitchell.Online condolences may be made to the family at www.warrenmeadows.com
