Lambert Daniel Peterson, 75, of Shreveport, passed away on May 25, 2015, in Keithville. A private burial was held on May 26, in Many.Family and friends are invited to a celebration of his life to be held at Pendleton Assembly of God Church on Saturday June 13, 2015, at 11 a.m., officiateby his son, Boyd Daniel Peterson. Please stay and visit with the family at a “Lambert style” fishfry afterward.Lambert was born in New Iberia, to William “Bill” Elvin and Gladys Peterson on Dec. 2, 1939. He graduated from Many High School in 1957 and married his high school sweetheart, Gweneth Loraine Stroud. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and served eight years of active duty. Upon his return from military service, he continued his Education at North-western State University, where he earned a Master +30 of Education Administration. He worked as an educator in Sabine Parish for 20 years, firstas a teacher and principal at Negreet High School, then as Director of Migrant and Indian Education for Sabine Parish. Lambert is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Gweneth Stroud Peterson of Shreveport; children, Sharon and husband, J.J. Blake, Boyd and wife, Cindy Peterson and Teresa Hebert; siblings, Patsy Hubley and husband, Jack, Phyllis Patton and husband, Paul and sister-in-law, Jewel Peterson; grandchil-dren, Ryan, Cammy, T-Bob and his wife, Caitlin and Beaux Daniel Hebert, Anna, Cole, and Kate Peterson, Callie and Jack Blake, Whitney Wimer and her husband, Travis, Allie Byrd and her husband, Curtis and his great-grandchild, Noah Blake Mor-ris. Lambert is preceded in death by his parents and his broth-er, Halvor Peterson.The family wishes to thank the staffat Regional Hospice Care in Shreveport. The family also wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Patty Linder, Suzanne, Carol and their family for the tender care they provided Lambert during the past three years. Gwen and her children appreciate the loving devotion these ladies showed to Lambert.  In high school, Lambert was voted wittiest by his classmates. His wit stayed with him throughout his life. He loved entertain-ing people and causing laughter. He was happiest when playing his guitar and singing or riding his Harley.  Alzheimer’s took him from his family and friends at an early age.
