Funeral Services for Thur-man “Jack” Jackson Dockens, 77, of Robeline, were held on May 23 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel in Many with the Reverends Logan Brock and Steve Hunt officiating. Buri-al followed in the Friendship Nazarene Cemetery in Robeline.Thurman “Jack” Jackson Dockens was born on Saturday, Oct. 02, 1937 in Sabine Parish. He passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Sabine Medical Center in Many.He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Dockens and Alice M. Self; brothers, Norman and Charles Dockens and sister, Elaine McCormic.He is survived by his wife, Mary C. Dockens of Robeline; sons, Dewayne Dockens and wife, Linda, of Many, Donald Dockens and wife, Shelli, of Bel-mont, and Harold Dockens and wife, Rita, of Robeline; step-son, Mark Jemes of Conway, Missouri; daughters, Karen Dockens of Houston, Texas and Lyndsy Brock and husband, Lo-gan, of Converse; step-daugh-ters, Marilyn Matherley, Ne-vada, Missouri, Michelle and husband, Dr. Jay Mullis, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Martha and husband, Brad Boswell, of Columbia, Missouri and Marika Anne Jemes and fiancé, Bobby Love, of Laquey, Missouri; sis-ters, Margaret Powell of Jal, New Mexico, Retha Campbell of Many, Maxine Cooper of Paris, Texas and Katherine Clark of Nashville, Tennesse; brother, Curtis Dockens of Baton Rouge, LA; 24 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.Pallbearers were Marvin Davis, Doug Dockens, Ron-ald Dockens, Waylon Dockens, Trevor Dockens and Milton Mitchell.Online condolences may be made to the family at www.warrenmeadows.com
