    Funeral services honoring the life of Sylvia Craig Johnson, 97, were held May 18 t Midway Baptist Church in Converse. The services were officiated by the Reverends Jimmy Price and Clinton Alford. Burial followed in the Noble Cemetery in Noble. Sylvia was born March 29, 1918 in Converse to Otto and Willie Craig and passed away in Mansfield on May 14, 2015. Preceding Sylvia in death were her husband, Wiley Johnson; parents, Otto and Willie Craig; son, David Raleigh Leatherwood; sisters, Gladys Hinkie, Elizabeth Young, Louise Moody and Grace Webster; brothers, Leamon Craig and Luke Craig; granddaughter, Carla Denise Leatherwood and great granddaughter, Alisha Ruiz. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, C.B. Leatherwood, Jr. and wife, Barbara; daughter, Wyoma Hawthorne and husband, Justin; grandchildren, Beverly Leatherwood Jones, Marc Leatherwood, Venita Leatherwood Williams and husband, Mark, and Donald Leatherwood and wife, Debbie; 10 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. Honoring the life of Sylvia as pallbearers were Marc Leatherwood, Donny Leatherwood, Joshua Leatherwood, Spencer Bullock, Brant Trahan, and Breech Leatherwood.
