Tommie Dell Barnhill Childs of Pasadena, Texas passed away on Sunday March 22, 2015. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Cedar Grove Baptist Cemetery in Many with Glen Hardy officiating. Tommie was born on Oct. 20, 1936 in Monahans, Texas to the late James Bernice Barnhill and Cloda Vueleman. She was preceded in death by sister, Mitty Oberdorf. She is survived by her children, James Herring and wife, Cynthia of Granite Shoals, Texas, Melody Herring of Pasadena, Texas, Debra Perry and husband, Gary, of La Porte, Texas and Barbara Kirkley and husband, William, of Williamson, Ga.; sister, Doris Downden and husband, Sammy, of Ragley and Beverly Welker of Farmington, Ill.; brother, Jerry Barnhill of Lytle, Texas; seven grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.
