A memorial mass will be held to celebrate the life of Willie J. “Bill” LaRoue, 64, of Noble, on Monday, March 23 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Zwolle. Father Timothy C. Hurd will officiate. Interment will fol-low in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service.Willie was born on May 20, 1950 in Converse. He entered into eternal rest in Alexandria, on March 10, 2015. Willie graduated from Zwolle High School in 1969. He owned LaRoue’s Gulf Service Station in Noble in the 1970s-1980s, worked at the Plywood Mill in Zwolle in the 1980s-1990s, and became medically disabled in 1999.Willie had many hobbies such as rebuilding engines and working on cars, shooting pool, target practice, reading, and watching TV.Willie never married and never had any children, however he always said that his children were those of his brother and sis-ters.Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Rupert LaRoue and Ida Mae Torres LaRoue.He is survived by brother, Joe LaRoue of Westminster, Colo.; sisters, Carolyn Ann Riv-ers and Barbara Ann Sepulva-do and husband, Marvin, both of Zwolle and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
